Success Story – Sweet Mabel
Mabel is a female Yorkie who is older, but not a senior. She is approximately 6 years old and only 5-6 pounds. This sweet baby was rescued from the Central CA SPCA in Fresno.
Mabel tends to flinch when you initially reach out to pet her, so she will need a quiet and patient home at first to help her come out of her shell. However, she is GREAT with other dogs, large and small, and so far she seems to understand potty training well!
The vets at the shelter think Mabel might be losing her eyesight. Unknown how Mabel is with cats or kids. We suspect she’d be fine with cats, but more fearful of small kids than she is already of adults.
