Looking for a home – Hops

Up for Adoption

Hops is a one year old German Shepherd with a bit of a disability, but don’t tell her! Hops was dumped in an abandoned warehouse at about 4 weeks of age, but was thankfully found by local firefighters and taken to the Hanford CA shelter.

At the time she was unable to move her legs, but has definitely progressed as you can see from the video below! She gets around really well and can motor when she “hops” after her bothers and sisters.

Hops has a very high prey drive so should NOT be in a home with small dogs, cats, or livestock. She loves her people though, and really needs to be in a multi-dog home so she has playmates.

If interested, fill out an adoption application here. Our adoption fee is $200. All dogs adopted through Animal Rescue Relay are fixed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and healthy.
